Location: Suffield, CT
Schedule: Full-Time, 40+ Hours per Week (Monday – Friday)
Compensation: $30 plus Benefits
Start Date: As soon as the family finds the right fit

Children: 2 (Ages 10 and 8)

About the Family:

A warm and welcoming family located in beautiful Suffield, CT, is seeking a dedicated and caring full-time Nanny/Housekeeper to join their household team. The two children, ages 10 and 8, are active, kind, and full of curiosity. They are looking for someone who will care for them as part of the family, help maintain a well-organized home, and provide reliable, professional support to ensure our household runs smoothly.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate is nurturing, organized, and proactive, with a genuine love for working with school-aged children. In addition to childcare, responsibilities include light housekeeping and household management. The family values open communication, dependability, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Childcare:

• Provide attentive, engaged care for both children.
• Assist with morning and after-school routines, including school drop-off/pick-up, homework support, and extracurricular activities.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks.
• Plan and engage in fun, age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors.
• Communicate daily with parents on children’s schedules, needs, and progress.
• Supervise play dates, outings, and occasional evening or weekend babysitting (with notice)

Housekeeping:

• Light housekeeping to maintain a clean, tidy, and organized home.
• Family laundry, including washing, folding, and occasional ironing.
• Kitchen cleanup and organizing after meals.
• Occasional errands, grocery shopping, and household organization.
• Keeping track of household supplies and restocking as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

• Prior experience working with school-aged children.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
• Non-smoker.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (safe, reliable vehicle preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents and independently when needed.
• Comfortable with light housekeeping responsibilities.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain).
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $30+ per hour (commensurate with experience)
